Alright, so I've spent the summer combing the world for a career in my field. Surprise! I've got nothing...Well, nothing but this sales job at Macy's but that's not exactly a salaried thing. Ya know...

Anyways I thought I would take this time to refresh everyone on why it's mind boggling no company out there has chosen to exploit me yet.

1. Hello? New college grad people, you may think you have to teach me everything off the bat, but that's really not the case at all. I've spent the last 4 years of my life learning how to adapt to constantly changing enviroments in business, life and everything else.

2. I have 2 years' worth of internships under my belt. Yep, 2 different jobs where I gained experience in marketing, public relations, print/web/graphics design, office support, communications management and a whole bunch of other stuff you need only ask.

3. I love my field! I realize there are a ton of recently jobless veterans out there supposedly more qualified than me, BUT have you forgotten how basic marketing and design are to my generation?

Come on people, ask me anything about emerging media I use everyday simply to Live. FTPs, social media networking, instant messaging, twittering, texting, nodding, surfing, word searching, xhtml, javascript, jpegs, mpegs, mp3s, mp4s, flckr, youtube, facebook, zip, tif- IT GOES ON!

Seriously what will it take for them to see the value in young blood?
